Congratulations Fall 2024-2025 Circle of Greatness Special Honorees!
Please help us congratulate our Fall 2024 Circle of Greatness Special Honorees!
These employees were chosen from among the more than 100 nominees for Circle of Greatness since the start of school to represent the best of the best of our auxiliary, paraprofessional, professional and substitute categories! They will now be in the running for the overall districtwide Circle of Greatness awards in August!
Read below what some of their nominees said about how they are #growinggreatness in our district!
In Aledo ISD, parents, students, community members, fellow staff members - ANYONE - can nominate ANY staff member to be recognized in this way! Take the time today to nominate someone who you've seen going above and beyond and being All in Aledo for Circle of Greatness!
Auxiliary, Kurt Lawrence - bus driver
Kurt has consistently demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to safety, customer service, and professionalism. His attention to detail, calm demeanor, and exceptional driving skills ensure that all kids feel safe and comfortable throughout their journey. Kurt goes above and beyond the call of duty each day.
You can always hear him as the kids get off the bus say “have a good day” as the doors close continued with a wave to the parents. He keeps our kids safe but most importantly our kids FEEL safe with him. We are forever grateful for Mr. Lawrence!
Paraprofessional, Kylie Lehto - Special Education Aide at Stuard Elementary
Kylie exemplifies growing greatness because she comes to work with a smile on her face every morning ready to take on the day! She has answered all of my questions about being a new staff member in Aledo ISD and I would seriously be lost without her! Being a paraprofessional is hard work but having this amazing team surrounding me helps make everyday worth it!
Professional, Elaina Walden - Aledo High School Science Teacher
Elaina’s dedication shines through in the outstanding support she provides to new teachers, the motivation she bring to our team, and the creativity in her lesson planning.
Elaina has been a vital mentor to new teachers, guiding them with thoughtful onboarding resources, one-on-one coaching, and helpful feedback through classroom observations. Her impact has given these teachers confidence and a strong start in their roles.
Elaina Walden truly exemplifies 'Growing Greatness' by enriching our team and enhancing the student experience.
Substitute, Stephanie Poe - McKinney Elementary
Stephanie Poe jumped in and assisted us in September when we were shorthanded, she has been fantastic, totally reliable and always a positive attitude! The colleagues she works with say how fabulous she is to work alongside. Stephanie is always willing to support the kids, who love and respect her.
