Hello Walsh Families!

It’s truly an honor to have this opportunity to serve you, the students, and staff of Walsh Elementary and be part of the incredible Aledo ISD community!  I’m excited to partner with our families of Walsh to ensure that every student feels supported, challenged, and successful throughout the school year. My door is always open, and I welcome the opportunity to serve and support you in any way possible.

This is my 19th year in education.  I began my teaching career in Crowley ISD as a science teacher before earning my Master’s degree in Education Counseling from Tarleton State University.  I then spent nine years serving as the school counselor at Tarver-Rendon Elementary in Mansfield ISD.  Before joining Walsh Elementary, I served three years as an elementary assistant principal in White Settlement ISD. 

I’ve been married for 18 years and am the proud parent of three amazing kids. I’m an avid outdoorsman that enjoys camping, backpacking, running, hunting and spending time with family!

I look forward to an incredible school year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences for our students. Go Bearcats!
